Ready As I'll Ever Be

"Ready as i'll ever be." I said. Tony nodded and we went inside the elevator. Tony pressed a button then turned to us.

"We are going down to Travis' lab. Knowing him there will probably be a bunch of bimbos locked up. When we get there we release them and take the elevator back. There should be a secret passage also leading to the arena the bimbos will take that path. During the chaos you two will save your brother while I take my vebgance." Travis explained. As soon as he was finished a ding was heard as the elevator door opened. We have arrived at our deatination.

We cautiosuly walked in and saw...

The hall was surronded in stasis chambers. Filled with people inside both infected and uninfected, both experimebted upon and not, all sleeping peaceful unknowing of where they are.

"What is this?" Jenny asked as she examined a stasis chamber.

"Just as I thought. That vile man was experimenting on the infected and even the none infected. I knew there were less wives and gladiators then were captured." Tony said to himself.

"Bravo. You want a medal?" A deep voice said as a shot was heard and I heard Tony scream in pain as he fell on hos knees clutching his stomach. Out came from the shadows was Travis holding a pistol.

"Travis!" Tony shouted. Jenny ran to him and checked on his condition.

"He's fine. As long as he patches it up he'll be up and at them in a weeks time." Travis informed us. "I knew when I saw the two new girl and the former champion leave during the show they were up to no good. Looks like I was right."

I turned to him and glared as I aimed my pistol at him. He looked me in the eyes and scanned me like I was meat on a silver platter. His eyes glowed in realization as he smirked.

"Ah! You are Jacob's sister yes? Then that girl over there must be his other sister. Though it seems your mom isn't. Must have turned... Am I right?" Travis asked knowing the answer as I just continued glaring a hold in him. "Thought so. Let me guess was it the jar?"

Jenny anx I both gasped in realization as Travis smirk grew into a full on smile. "I was right then? You must tell me how your mother reacted to its effects. But that must hold for later..." Travis began walking toward me until both of our pistols were right up against the other.

"What will you do Christina Martin?" Travis asked.

Shocked I asked, "How do you know my name?"

"I meet your father. He and I used to work together for a short while on the bimbo virus. He was a brillant scientist. A shame then it seems he has fallen to the infected." Travis explained. "I am sure must like me he would be son intrigued on this virus and would do anything to learn how it works."

"He wasn't like that!" I angrily screamed. "He wasn't someone who experimented on innocent people just to learn how a virus works!"

"Oh? How can you be so sure Christ- Agh!" Suddenly Travis screamed in pain as he was shot in the side. Turning to the culprit I saw Jenny holding a smoking pistol.

"Hurry sis! I'll keep this mad doctor busy!" Jenny ordered as she stood over the injured man pointing her pistol down on him.

I did exactly that running to the lab I saw a machine with a lot of buttons. Not knowing what buttons to push I pushed all of them.

Suddenly a speaker shouted, "All statis chambers have been unlocked and decativated! Repeat all statis chambers have been unlocked and decativated!" It droned on and on as I ran back to the room and picked up Travis and ran to the elevator with Jenny fast on our heels.

"Agh! What have you done!?" We heard Travis yell behind us. Turning back I saw him open the passageway and climb the ladder to the surface.

As moans were heard we left the lab and arrived to chaos.
