If only it was a dream ( Waking up in a different world)

I always thought it strange how the protagonist in these kind of stories immediately realise they are in a game within moments.

My rational mind would try to think of a hundred and one different explanations at first before coming to the absurd conclusion that I am in a Game.

Be it dreaming, hallucinating, having been kidnapped, being in a coma, having died in my sleep and remembering my past life, etc

I would need to gather a significant amount of evidence at first before I would belief and no longer consciously avoid that possibility.

Calling for Status or Game settings would definitely not be the first thing on my mind if I woke up in an unfamiliar place.

Claires life in the Monastery

Why doesn’t she go out and about to stop some tragic background event or prevent a war somewhere? That’s because her actual knowledge of the game is more spotty then she is willing to admit having skipped many dialogues lines portraying to the world history or quest backgrounds and simply following quest-markers or relying on save and reload when something doesn’t work out.

Though you have to consider that her goal had never been the actual rpg part of the game back then.

Catacombs (first solo adventure)

Claires first little adventure and more importantly first lewd interaction with the opposite sex. Small spoiler warning but Claire will have found a kindred soul in a nun by the name of Rosie by now which she catches masturbating in the Monastery. It shouldn’t be too long until I publish the first Part.

Also keep in mind that Claire is an untrustworthy narrator who will often not admit that she actually enjoyed something and might not tell her true feelings, especially in the case when she gets involved with the rougher sex and tries to deny her bodies feelings.

While he might think he is only attracted to girls Claire was definitely not.

Those panties during the forth entry were not put on by accident just saying. She might curse and say otherwise but will still go there as long as she can somehow justify it in a manner that her pride allows.

Her pride and prior preconceived notions will keep her from seeking out engagements with the opposite sex despite her body clearly being attracted to men. She will often try to find excuses and will feel the need to put on a show to justify her own behaviour.

Despite everything she says she actually found the interaction with the hunter arousing and even thrilling but is still very far from accepting her true feelings which is why she tries to distance herself. Her behaviour might seem off at some point considering her prior description of events but that is why you should not always trust her words but her actions instead.

In this case the more revealing panties she wore on that day despite the fact she could have worn the monastery issued once, there was no need to wear attractive underwear unless she actually wanted to show off to him.)
