It hadn’t occurred to me that Raven’s powers were mostly magical in nature. Since her skills did not rely on physical power, her lung capacity was quite low. As I saw her pass out and hit the floor, I realized I’d have to release them all or risk seriously injuring Raven.

“Heroes or villains, either one of you who decides first which member you are willing to sacrifice to me will be guaranteed victory. Of course, the decision has to be unanimous… with the exception of the victim.”

With the same ease I had shown in freezing them, I unfroze my audience. Now all I had to do was wait and see which side would turn on each other first. I assumed the villains would have no moral objections to sacrificing one of their own, all they would need to do is find the weak link that everyone else could agree on.

Still, could the heroes refuse my request knowing that villains would not think twice before taking me up on my….
