Raven wasn't what you would call the greatest mother ever, from between abandoning her baby girl so soon as she was born to leading a tribe of bandits and murderers. The years spent at Beacon had the black haired girl slowly fall for the white cloaked huntress, the fantasies she had of the two of them, her dominating the young Rose, the line between love and lust was always blurred when it came to her feelings for Summer. But then Summer died, and a hole was made in her heart. Over the years of secretly watching over Yang in her bird form, she also took notice of Summer's daughter, Ruby. It astounds Raven that as Ruby got older, the more she looked like Summer, the more she acted like her, it was as if Ruby was Summer reincarnated.
