Madeline took a moment to enjoy the moment of calm before she would enter the water.
She considered all she had done to get here. She looked out and took a deep breath in and out to slowly regulate her breathing then she slowly entered the water. She thought she saw movement in the water some distance away and so she double checked all her equipment. She'd need quite a bit to be successful. Madeline hoped she had prepared enough.
