Rachel had forgotten something very important.

N.A.: Back to the original POV character. The events in this chapter occur at the same time as those in the previous one.

"Where do you think Priscila went?" Rachel asked

"He probably went after her teacher. She'll be fine." you said

"You're right. We don't need to keep an eye on everything she does. But since we're here, let's continue cleaning her room." Rachel said

Cleaning the room, you ended up having fun while looking at everything you found there. A lot was already totally useless, but there were several interesting things. Rachel flipped through some of the old magazines and commented on some old events reported on them, saying they reminded her of when she was a child. You also found things interesting for you, like a Playstation 1 and some games stored in a different box, even though the CDs have become damaged over time.

After about half an hour tidying up the room, the doorbell rang. You went to answer it and you came across a couple.

"Good afternoon. Could I know who you are and what you want?" you asked the couple

"I am Anna Parker and this is my husband George Parker and we have come to visit our daughter Rachel. This is where she lives, right?" the woman said

"She's up there cleaning. Come in and settle into the living room that I'm going to call her." you said, so you went to the room and said to Rachel "We have visitors, your parents are waiting for you downstairs."

"What? Why did they come?" Rachel said and ran to her room, where she changed her clothes for a cleaner one and then went down. Arriving in the living room she was already saying "Mom, Dad, did something happen?"

"We came to see how our girl is doing. You don't give us news so we decided to come here." George said

"And we also wanted to pay you a surprise visit to congratulate you on your birthday." Anna said

"Yes, so much has happened lately that I even forgot that today is my birthday." Rachel said

"And this man at your side, is he the one you said was going to share the expenses with you when you moved here?" George asked

"It is himself. His name is John and there's something about him that you need to know." Rachel said and, showing her hand with the ring, continued "He proposed to me and I accepted."

"Marry? But what good news, you should have told us earlier." Anna said

"It's just that I forgot. But he also only asked me to marry him yesterday." Rachel said

"John, do you know that Rachel is not a normal girl?" George asked you with a very serious look

"I know, I am aware that she is a hermaphrodite. I don't think this is a problem." you said

"So I wish you both happiness. But if you make Rachel cry I'll hunt you down to the ends of the world if need be." George said

"I'm sorry, it's late, I already made her cry." you said with wanting to see his reaction

Seeing that her father threatened to advance against you, Rachel stopped him by saying "Calm down, dad, I cried because I was very happy."

"You have to lose this habit of always thinking of the worst, dear." Anna said and then turned to Rachel saying "And before we forget Rachel, your dad and I bought a cake to celebrate your birthday, it's no big deal, but it's more than enough for the four of us."

"Not four, five. There is someone else who has come to live with us in this house and she should be back soon. Let's wait a little bit for her." Rachel said

After that, you only talked while you were waiting for Priscila to arrive, although the one who spoke most was Anna, who told several stories about Rachel. Among the things that Anna said about Rachel, the one that most caught my attention was about something that happened when she was in primary school. She said that when Rachel was in high school someone played a prank and pulled her pants down, so the other students at the school discovered that she had a stick and started bullying her because of it.

After a few hours talking, Priscila finally comes home. She saw that they had visitors and was curious to know who they were.

"Father, mother, this is Priscila. She is also living with us and she is also a hermaphrodite." Rachel said

"So did you get another friend like Katie?" George asked

"And it wasn't just one more." you said

George and Anna didn't understand what you meant by that, so you guys told all about the Hermaphrodite Meeting.

Rachel's parents were delighted to hear what happened and the two commented saying that it had really been the right decision for her to leave their house, otherwise she would still be lonely.

After a few more hours of talking and having eaten all the cake, you saw that it was getting late. You invited Rachel's parents to spend the night there, but they refused. So they said goodbye and left.
