Rachel (the innocent Peacock daughter)

Ding dong.

Ed waits for a few minutes before the door is answered by a timid young brunette wearing a pair of Paddington bear pyjamas. The pyjamas don't really give a clue to her figure, but she's tall even without shoes, probably five foot eight already.

Ascertaining that her mother has gone to London for the weekend with her father, Ed explains the situation showing her a battered cardboard box that was surely better taped up when it started it's journey, wherever that was...

Rachel signs his handheld and takes the box over to the kitchen table. Its flaps are straining to escape their sticky confines, but for now the tape does its job.

Upstairs she hears the radio go on in the bathroom and the shower splash into life, Crissy must be up.

As Rachel makes breakfast for her and her sister, she glances over occasionally at the box.
