Putting things in there place.

You put a shotgun, next to each door. You figure as far as having it ready once someone breaks in that is a pretty good place to have them should you need to attack someone, this allows you to drop a gun that is empty if need be to pick up another as well. You place the machine gun, on the top of office building along with the sniper rifle you figure if need be having two shooters on the roof is good a plan as any now, thou that does not mean that there is two shooters on the roof at all times. I mean fact is, fence and the warehouse are pretty good protection, and once you move the concrete blocks things will be even safer. The warehouse has a vehicle door on both sides, so this allows for cover to leave and allows you to block the entrance of the fence so only people on foot can get in should they wish to, if done right it would look as if people would park outside the gate. So you need to move the empty cars to be outside the gate as well so, the cars are before the fence, and then the concrete blocks and then your building and and so on. This at least would make the changes you made look a little more realistic for the defensive purposes of avoiding possible conflicts. And if the gate is locked with a chain and lock most people will pass by it all the same.

After realizing a lot of this you turn to Ruth and say " I would like to move the normal empty vehicles after we empty there gas tanks, with a emergency, gas can if we can as many as we can. I am not sure how many we have. But if we use a screw driver and punch the tank, the car is worthless for anyone to steal so helps act as cover for us as a reason to why the blocks are making it so cars can't get in I mean, if we block most of the gate, so only people can get in. Having the Abandoned or empty cars would make for even more cover to the fact it makes sense for an abandon location to look like this."

Ruth nods and says " I agree, we can get to work on it in a couple days. I mean most of the stuff over in this industrial area is mostly construction equipment and other things. And most people mostly figure any fuel here is safer on the equipment then captured because the average vehicle as to much fuel for most people to carry. Making it impractical to snoop around here for the resources. Much like the reason why if you drain the tanks of fuel how hard it is for us to store, but I understand the reason for that. It is so the vehicles can't blow up from the fuel should they set fire to them."

You look around for a moment and say " I think everyone, should come in most of the things that need to be placed were they should be or set up here or there has been moved. We should now take time for us, I mean if we keep up a pace that suggests we have no care for are own needs during any of this why do we do any of it."

Ruth smiles and goes into the main living area, she takes a few cans of this and that and starts to make food for everyone. You round up Tracy and Tommie and Grace, they seem to be getting along well so your happy about that. At least they don't feel competitive over you if anything, you hear bits of what Tracy was saying as you come to find them moving and arranging the extra weapons and ammo. Seems she is telling them about the radio as her and her mother had told you.

You say " Ruth and I felt, we should all sit and eat now. We have finished quite a few things, we can consider this or that and learn the rest later."

Tracy smirks and says " If you guys don't know how to aim or shot, there is not much to worry about. I looked at the ammo, there are enough tracer rounds, that you can fail to hit a target and still get a good idea were you are shooting every third or fourth shot. And we can place three tracers in a raw at the bottom of every clip so we know we need to reload. I mean, since it is clear that if we are trying to kill someone we does not make much difference most of the time if they know were we are during the combat so long as we kill them."

You just nod feeling that makes a lot of sense, and say "I guess that is as good as plan as any, if the tracer rounds can honestly help us adjust and learn to aim better on the fly. I would much rather prefer that. Then wasting ammo, when I am sure your mother and you can check to make sure all the weapons are operating. Even thou I am sure your uncle mostly made sure of that."

Tracy nods and says " Yup, that is the reason to use the tracers, Plus having a bright red thing flying at you at high speeds is capable of striking quite a bit of fear if you consider the fact most people have not experienced a tracer shot before. It's almost looks like being shot at with lasers." You smirk at that, and think for a second of what that might be like.

Grace looks at you and says " Some of the more useful stuff we have, gotten from Franks house is in fact some of the stuff we are less likely to use, In less as Tracy has said the Military really is moving forward. Like signal flares and so on, there is a number of different colors and types. Thou they two could be used to scare people, so to some degree it could have some combat use, the Night vision goggles are good. Also with us having 5 people instead of three, we might be able to set up a watch that we rotate on the roof. Even thou we can't be seen in here, it will help us all feel safer."

You smirk and say " In order to set up a rotating watch, we need warmer clothing for everyone. And with some of the stuff you have been wearing I am unsure if that is even possible, how far into the town might we need to go to get said clothing?"

Grace smirks and says " I got clothing, from franks house. It is a bit baggy, but it all seems to fit well pretty much all of us. He really was a strange one thou, most of his clothing was camo, or some form of military uniform or combat suits."

You just smirk and say " As long as we got a happy face sticker for the bullet proof vest and a name tag to put on it I am happy."

Tracy looks at you and says " You would not dare do that would you?"

You laugh and say " Well, he is a pretty interesting comic book character, and I think your uncle Frank would agree with it. I mean your last name out of irony would not be Castle would it? Your Uncle is not the Punisher is he? I mean if you prefer I don't use a name tag and a happy face sticker I can always spray paint the Punisher logo onto my bullet proof vest."

Tracy just smirks and says " No are last name is not Castle, and I guess you might be right. I mean it's the small things we do that show we are still civil, sure it is kinda anti-social of us to go putting comic, connections on are body armor but at least it might be entertaining for us."

Tommie just looks at you funny and says " Your no Comedian"

This of course makes Grace and Tracy laugh and Grace says " See, Tommie that is the point he is making. If he had a name tag, he could put Comedian on it and a happy face sticker."

You then smile and say " Or we could always go with one of the tried and true, name take funnies, Fuck you or fuck me or we could go Blade Trinity on them with Suck you Or Suck Me. Thou I get some people might take more offensive behavior to these since they relate and or suggest. unstable behavior more then how should I say Comedy?"

Tommie just makes a face and rolls her eyes and says " Men, can't live with them can't have a good fuck without them."

Grace smiles and says " Tommie I think that is almost the nicest thing you have said about Alex since you apologized to him."

Tracy looks a little shift in her feet for a second and says " I think we should go check on that food now, I mean no need for us to dredge things that could slow down productivity."
