Pushups, Amy and Ophelia (2)

Matt headed for the bus early... which wasn't easy considering he woke up surrounded by naked girls. Still, he only had one more day to get ready for the streaming launch.

He pounded out twenty-five pushups, then after a couple of minutes, managed another twenty. The thing about pushups, he was finding, was that they never got easier, they just got more.

Amy arrived when he was finishing his second set.

"Hey Matt."

"Hi Amy, you look cute today." Which she did. Her little shorts were tight enough to give her a sweet cameltoe and her nipples showed through the thin fabric of her little top.

"Thanks. I... I try to look nice for you so you won't be ashamed being with me."

"I'm never ashamed being with you, Amy."

"Matt?"

"Yes."

"I wonder... you've gotten so popular lately. Do you think maybe you could help me make friends with Natasha and Tanya?"

"You want to be friends with them?"

"Well duh. They're the popular girls. If they're your friends, everyone has to like you."

He didn't think it worked that way. He also didn't think he could explain that to Amy in a way she'd believe. Besides, maybe she was right. "Okay. I can try."

"That would be cool. I'll be pretty like them once I get my face fixed and my boobs made huge."

Matt suspected she still wouldn't be pretty like Tanya and Natasha. He also suspected he would crush her if he told her that. "I said I'd try to help, Amy, but remember this. Ultimately you have to create your own happiness."

"Ohmigod, that is such bullshit. I can imagine all the happiness in the world but I still don't have it."

"Well, think about what's happened so far this summer. You made friends with Karen. You got a boyfriend. You're making friends with Wendy on the bus."

Ophelia pulled up right then so Amy was spared having to come up with an answer. She headed toward the back and Matt grinned at Ophelia.

"Looking great, Ophelia."

"Here I thought you were going to call me 'sister' and do some sort of jive-talk."

"Uh, I could try if you really wanted me to but I don't think I'd be very good at it."

"Yeah, no. I don't think you would. You go sit with that little girl and let the grownup drive."

"Will do, Ophelia. But I wanted to say what a good time I had yesterday. And if you want, we should launch our streaming tomorrow. Check it out. I'll be on at four. You don't have to tip."

"You think I waste my time watching porn?"

"I think if you wanted to watch the hottest porn all you'd have to do would be to look at yourself, Ophelia."

"God, do not tell me that sort of line works for you."

"Hasn't yet. But I'm hopeful."

"Go sit down, kid."
