Problem at the checkout

Michelle sighed as she pushed the cart to the self check out and began to ring up the items. When she reached the diapers however, an alarm went off. “Error with youth small diapers extra absorbent. Error with youth large diapers extra absorbent. Please see employee for help.”

Alexa cowered in embarrassment as a tall handsome man walked over. “Sorry, do you need help?”

Michelle blushed as she pointed to the two packages of diapers. “Those seem to have a problem.”

The man nodded as he approached the screen and tapped on a few buttons. He grumbled and then used the radio which projected over the loudspeaker. “I need help with one youth small diapers extra absorbent and one youth large diapers extra absorbent. Taylor, please come to register 8.”

The two girls blushed and hid their faces as a woman came over. “Hey, Dan, what’s the problem?”

“It seems these barcodes are no good,” Dan said. “The machine doesn’t seem to like these diapers.”

Taylor nodded as she said. “You can just click choose an item and then find the diapers and brand then you can ring them that way.”

Dan nodded as he hit a few buttons. “Like that?”

“No these are the Soaker’s brand. Make sure to choose the right one,” Taylor said.

Dan nodded as he hit a few more buttons. “These ones.”

“Yes,” Taylor said. “And make sure to choose the correct sizes too. They have different prices.”

“Wait… why are we getting two sizes?” Alexa whispered to Michelle.

Michelle gulped. “Well you know. You might want to try a bigger size.”

“But I’m always a small…” Alexa said. “Maybe we should take those back and get another small size.”

Michelle sighed. “They’re not for you. They’re for me.”

Alexa’s eyes widened but she didn’t say anything more while Dan and Taylor finished with the register. “Alright. You’re all set. Have a great day. Let us know if you need any more help,” Taylor said.

Alexa nodded as Michelle finished ringing up the other items, putting them in bags and swiping her card to pay for the items. She didn’t meet Alexa’s eyes as she turned back to the cart and began pushing them again.
