“Mr. Vargas, Danielle has been an excellent student throughout her time at this school, and I simply can not imagine that she is responsible for the events of the morning. Obviously, you have the authority to decide whether a punishment is appropriate, but I will not be party to it,” Ms. Banner obviously strains to keep from withering under Mr. Vargas’ stair.

“Well, Danielle, it seems that I’ve got bigger fish to fry today then you. It seems that my hand-picked principle has taken this opportunity to let me know that she doesn’t respect my decision making. So, here’s the deal Danielle, you can escape your punishment, but now you are responsible for punishing Principle Banner. The punishment can be whatever you like, subject to my approval. Make up your mind quick though, this day is rapidly taxing my patience.”

You look at Principle Banner, who’s face has now turned to unmitigated horror at the thought of receiving a potentially humiliating punishment from one of her students.
