Eventually, Riley sighs.

"The OS is all in Frawnian... I can't read anything!"

Just as Riley starts to become dejected for having no way of moving the ship, and heading back empty handed, he lost his balance due to the unfamiliarity of the Frawnian's body. Flailing his arms around, he somehow manages to hold onto the side of the control panel.

"VERIFICATION SUCCESSFUL. UNLOCKING SHIP SYSTEMS."

From all around the room, a booming robotic voice announced in the international galactic language, startling Riley.

"OS reverting to common language mode. Thank you for your rescue operations.

This ship belongs to the Frawnian kingdom's first princess: Ruri.

I am the ship's AI."

Riley being a IERA officer, a veteran at handling emergency situations, has long since recovered from the tumble, and listened to the AI attentively. As soon as the AI introduces itself, a hologram of the upper green body of a pretty girl with perfectly neat azure hair appears above the centre of the control station.

Seeing this, Riley pulled the face of the Frawnian skin overhead in the blink of an eye, disregarding the pain and discomfort that comes about with the transformation process.

However, it was still too late. Biting his teeth through the pain, pretending as if nothing is wrong, Riley looks towards the hologram.

"Oh... First princess!? Is that you?" Smiles the AI.

Riley still fumbling around behind his head to make sure there's no gap in his disguise.

"Ah, n-no, I'm..."

Surprisingly, the hologram girl flickers, but remains calm while smiling, "I see... a human!", as if it's already known that this would happen.

After a moment of awkward silence, it determined that the human is on guard and requires an explanation, so it continues: "Listen...

Long ago, there was a certain prodigy scientist who aimed to steal the princess' skin for himself.

He was successful and turned her into the skin you are now wearing.

But he has since passed away, and we need a new princess. How do you feel about becoming the princess for a bit?" The AI nonchalantly said in a friendly tone.

"What!? Th... that’s impossible!"

What the flickering girl just told him hit him right on the weak spot.

Wasn't this Riley's childhood dream that he buried years ago? At the mere thought of becoming a girl, living their life, dressing up in pretty clothes, having female friends that you can share your gossips with, and most importantly without anyone suspecting that anything is off!

Riley's heart wavered, then the AI adds on the final straw that broke the donkeys back.

"Well, there's wealth and fame to be had if you do become our princess. Frawnia is a resource rich plant you know!"
