On an airplane

Michelle boarded the plane and head towards the back of the plane where she was. She had booked a random window seat as she headed for California. She was excited for her time away from her hometown and a new opportunity that had come up during her planning. She hoped that whatever it was that faced her across the states, that she would be able to see the world.

She stopped at her aisle and looked over to find a familiar girl sitting in the aisle seat. “Lex? Is that you?” Michelle asked.

Alexa looked up from her phone and gasped as she saw Michelle standing there. “Milly? What are you doing there?”

“I’m headed to LA for some job opportunity,” Michelle said. “What about you?”

“I’m headed on an internship,” Alexa said as she stood up while Michelle scooted past.

“Well at least we’ll have some fun,” Michelle said.

Alexa nodded as she eyed her friend. “Yeah, definitely,” she said, leaning on her shoulder. “It’s… comforting to know you’re here. By my side…”

“Hey, Lex?” Michelle asked. “Do you still… you know… wear diapers?”

Alexa hesitated for a moment but then nodded. “Yeah… is that a problem?”

“Not at all,” Michelle whispered kissing Alexa’s forehead.

Alexa smiled as she snuggled with Michelle, feeling comfortable in her position. “Are you wearing one right now?”

Alexa nodded. “I am…” she said as she yawned. “You’ve got my back right?”

“Of course,” Michelle said, holding Alexa’s hand. “I’m with you all the way.”
