Chapter 4 by HazelsHearth HazelsHearth

Wait, where were the dorms again?

Logic dictates... the big building with many windows!

Hazel perhaps wasn't always the most socially-inclined individual, but when it came to facts and logic, she was your girl! Naturally, the building she was looking for had to have a window for each dorm--at least, if they were good dorms. That building was all the way across the whole campus, five or so scholastic buildings-length between her and the target. It was a slow trek, but not a distracted one this time! All of the other girls must have meandered off to their own classes during Hazel's time with the headmistress, because the entire front expanse of the grounds were, for the most part, empty.

The efficient witch she was, Hazel took this time to flip through the pages of her stack of paperwork, finding page 37 within it. With a small wave of her free hand, a magic **** pulls the paper out of its place and waved it in front of her face as she began walking.

"As an attendee of Hargrove Academy of Upper Arcane Education, every student is admitted a room in our dorm building. With each dorm comes with great responsibility, and staff will not be there to clean up for you, and you should expect to... blah blah blah..."

By the mercy of Minerva herself, Hazel loved a good book, but orientation paperwork left her damn bored.

"Each student will be rooming with one other--no more, no less. Registration takes place within the administrative office. If you have missed the due-date, you're out... of... luck."

Fuck.

Just how many more sudden facts would come to light every ten minutes Hazel was in this school? Would she be sleeping in a waterbed? Her roommate a frog? Taught by gimps exclusively?! The poor witch was awaiting anything at this point!

"And your room number is..." Hazel spoke to herself, reading along the sentence until it reached a blank spot where three numbers were obviously stamped in...

"6... 0... 9."

It was then that Hazel had arrived to her destination, and promptly sighed as she looked at the building in front of her while she was at the door. Six floors up, and only her two less than exercised legs to bring her up them.

As Hazel walked in, she noticed that the bottom floor of the dorms seemed to be a recreational area. A few students littered the various areas such as a notice board, a somehow unvandalized flat screen TV at the far-end of the room, A corner with divining materials, and a small alchemy lab. It all looked relatively in-tact, as much as public material can be.

Would Hazel stop anywhere before her way up?
