Welcome to College

Samantha gulped as she stood in front of Wagner University. She wore a plaid skirt and vest that her mother insisted on along with the strawberry underwear her mom also insisted she wear. “You’ll look so cute in those,” Wendy Reynolds said.

Samantha didn’t have the energy to fight back with her mom, so she begrudgingly wore the outfit that she has picked out, including the mary jane shoes with the white cotton socks. Her hair was tied in pigtails as her mom insisted on doing her hair.

Samantha made her way to her new dorm having just moved everything in yesterday. Now it was her first day at university and she hoped for everything to go smoothly. As she entered the dorm room she saw a girl and some of her friends on the right side bed, giggling about something.

“Oh you must be Sammy right?” the girl with black hair said. “I’m Jess. I’ll be your roommate. This is Hannah and Nicole, but I call her Nicky.”

Samantha nodded as she felt awkward and nervous around the three much taller and much more mature looking girls.
