IA Day 10 - Pass to Hana

You can't brute **** this... Adella's a stronger player than Hana, but she refuses to pass. Hana seems to have a better grasp of what it takes to win, so you pass it to her.

Tina stops her, but you have set an example, and Beth follows your lead and feeds the ball to Hana again. This time she scores.

It's an exhausting game, but you do win. What a slog... everyone is exhausted, but the FUTA people are going crazy.

Motoko seems to approve. She puts her hand on your shoulder and gives you a nod. Great...

Adella seems annoyed, but as the winning captain, she goes to do her postgame interview while you and the others go to the showers.

You dry off and put your clothes to find everyone being rushed onto busses. FUTA seems to be in a big hurry to get all the players out of the camp.

You see the other team getting on a different bus. Their bus isn't as good as yours.

Adella's still all sweaty when she climbs on... they didn't give her time to shower. She stops to speak quietly to Riona as the bus rumbles off, then comes to sit next to you.

You're worried she's mad, but she's not.

"Good job," she says, leaning against you. "Don't worry. Pink Team won their game."

"Oh..." you say. So Riley will be at the Lodge too.

At the Lodge, she's in front of you in line, and she signs in for you, then takes your hand.

"You're rooming with me," she says as she leads you upstairs.

You are puzzled... you weren't expecting that. Adella takes you to a room, where all your stuff is waiting. So Adella assigned the rooms before you even won the game.

Once you are alone with her in the room, she closes the door.

"You forgot this," she says, handing you a bag. You see what it is and turn red. It's your shopping bag with the lingerie you bought.

She faces you, and you are a bit intimidated by her tall, strong figure. But... there's also something kind special about how she looks, tired like this. It kind of makes your heart beat faster.

"Riley's rooming with Lara, but Riona is... distracting Lara, so Lara won't be back tonight. Riley has the room to herself."

You turn even redder.

"Careful," Adella adds. "Riley has no confidence. Well, maybe she has some after winning today. But if she doesn't make the first move, you have to do it."

"You want me to... you know," you say.

"To celebrate with her. It's what you want. I can see it," Adella says. "If I'm wrong, go do something else. But I saw you last night. I don't think I'm wrong."

"Why are you doing this for me?" you ask.

She shrugs. "You're on my team. Why wouldn't I want you to be happy?"

Adella walks into the bathroom and you hear the shower come on. You are left holding your lingerie.
