No Condom, No Pill. (unsafe sex)

"I know Coach," Kacey remarks, "No Condom, No Pill. My period was last week." She remarked.

To say I am shocked is an understatement, but I kept my face neutral. I have to be sure I'm hearing her right. "So no protection whatsoever other then perhaps a Plan B later, or just depending on it being the wrong time of the month?" I ask her.

Kacey nods, "Yeah. No protection."

I pause, I know just how stupid this is, how unsafe. It's one thing to bed this beautiful young lady if she's using a condom or on the pill, the risks are low, but no protection, that's almost begging to be impregnated. Natalie did that, but we knew what we wanted, and a baby was part of that, if perhaps not that soon. But Kacey? She's first line, and with Alice is a shoo in for the Senior team, hell she's good enough to go pro if she applied herself. Part of me wants to shut this down, talk her down, get her out of here. And part of me, a primal instinct in all men, tells me she's a grown adult, it's her choice, if she wants to risk a baby it's on her, go breed her.

She must realize the turmoil as she looks at me. "Everything okay coach?" she asks.
