Chapter 24 by ElGreco ElGreco

What wakes her up?

The Morning

Bright daylight woke her.

Blearily, Laurie put her hands over her face. 'I can't believe I didn't draw the curtains last night'

She felt a slight breeze on her bare skin. 'Is the window open?'

She felt the hard roof beneath her. She heard the sound of birds and traffic. The events of last night began to return to her. Laurie let out a little groan.

"Oh god" Laurie croaked, "Why did I do that?"

'Because you wanted it', her memory answered.

Blinking, Laurie pushed herself into the sitting position. She was alone on the roof, apart from a couple of sparrows bouncing along the wall. She was still wearing the dress from last night, almost all the buttons missing, and her bra, torn down the middle. Her whole body ached, as though she had run a marathon, and her pussy was sore, bruised, stretched. Checking herself over, she felt the unmistakably trace of dried cum on her pussy and upper thigh. She groaned again.

What time was it? From the sounds of the street, it was at least nine o'clock. Where was her phone? She had left it in her handbag. Where was her handbag? Her mind played back the night. She remembered Dan taking her aside, and the handbag... staying on the table she had been standing by. It was still in the club, along with her phone, her purse, her travel card, everything but the rags she was wearing. Laurie screamed out a curse, sending the sparrows flying off to the next building.

She got to her feet. It was a beautiful day, at least. She spotted her high heels scattered where she had left them. Her laddered tights had somehow landed in a puddle, and were soaked through and unwearable. And her panties...

Laurie swept back and forth across the roof. Her panties had vanished. Again she searched her memory. Had they gone over the edge? A half-imagined memory of Dan picking something up from the floor and stuffing it in his pocket formed. Laurie swore again. She peered over the side of the roof. The streets weren't busy, but there was a regular flow of pedestrians and traffic in all directions.

Laurie was two miles from home. Without a phone, she couldn't call a cab, or a friend to rescue her. She needed to get back - but how? She examined her remaining clothes. The bra was a write-off. The catch was at the back, and the tear was at the front, meaning the cups hung uselessly from her shoulders. Laurie shrugged off the dress, and removed the remains of the bra, dropping them to the floor. She paused, naked on the roof, the sun on her bare skin. If only her old friends could see her now...

She pulled back on the dress. The fabric was dirty but undamaged - it was just the buttons which had come off. The few remaining were far too loose to hold it closed. She contemplated - it was hard to think clearly when hungover... 'If I tie the fabric together at the waist like this...' She pulled the sides together and tied a knot. Her breasts were far more exposed that she would ever have allowed, and her legs were on show to the world, but at least her nipples and pussy were hidden. 'I've seen worse on a night out' Laurie reassured herself 'Although, I think those girls were usually wearing panties'

Laurie picked up her shoes, and descended the ladder. She felt the breeze lifting the hem of her dress, and suddenly realised how exposed she was. She prayed no one was looking up, and rushed down the ladder and fire escape. At the bottom, she peered through the windows into the club. There was nobody in. She knew her handbag was inside, and wondered if she could find a loose window or door - maybe via the fire escape. She caught sight of her reflection in the glass and put her head in her hands. She looked a total mess - like a hooker who had slept in a bush.

A wolf whistle from a passing car snapped Laurie out of her self-pity, and made her cheeks flush bright red. As she looked around, she noticed she was catching a lot of attention in her outfit from the passers-by. She had to get back before she was recognized. But how? She could take the direct route by road, and try to get back as quickly as possible - but surely she'd be spotted by another student. Alex might even be out looking for her, depending on how late it really was. She could go via the parks, which was longer, but much quieter. Or... What? Try and catch a bus or taxi? Try to get her bag from inside the club somehow?

Laurie clenched her fists. There was only one option...

What's next?
