Circle to the right

Not trusting the literally middle of a swamp to not be either trapped or monster filled, you figure circling around the edge is the safe bet. Going to the right side of the swamp the ground feels firm, and when it wasn’t there was abnormally large vines and roots to step on.

By the time you made it halfway there, the ground has disappeared under floor of vines. You weren’t sure why you were feeling uneasy about this, after all you were still just walking through nature right? That is, until you seemingly took a muster and your foot got caught between two of them. No matter how hard you pulled, you couldn’t get it out, almost like the vines had squeezed tighter around you ankle.

This wasn’t good, trapped between a swamp and a forest of trees. Something was bound to get you eventually...
