Relief

You enter the classroom, your mind is still processing and your lack of sleep isn't helping. The teacher is there but you don't listen, from what you understand Jessica did join your harem at some point but she already sent a copy of the suspicious forum's posts with the real name of everyone based on their IP address.

And thanks to that, someone could clearly identify your post as very fucking weird, in them, the answers don't make sense most of the time but somehow nobody remembers writing them. You guess that with enough deduction, someone could think you're somehow changing the world, Jessica wasn't sure of what she found so you explained what really happened.

She was shocked to learn of your power but it seems making her part of your harem stopped her from reacting too strongly. It was still a big reaction compared to Penny though...

"Mr.Doe! Can you please read the next part?" Miss Gonzalez startles you. Hopefully, Kana is right next to you and she lends you her book, finger pointing to the next sentence.

You leave for the cafeteria, on your way there you find Michael, and while trying to appear innocent you invite him to your table. This time the table is full, Penny and Ashley are talking together as usual, while Jessica sits next to Kana and you find yourself face to face with Michael.

You're quiet, studying the face of Michael as well as noticing Jessica throwing a few glances at him. She must be very embarrassed by what she's done now that she's on your side. You should have done her in earlier than this, now you're getting hit with the consequences. You exchange a few words with Michael and at some point, he looks like he has something to say.

"John, can we talk in private after this?" You nod, but deep down you don't want to get separated from the others... He won't do anything while we're in school right?

You hurry and as you finish your meal, you follow Michael in the courtyard, he starts:

"Man, you won't believe what Jessica sent me yesterday night." You try to faint surprise.

"Really? I didn't know you were a friend of her?"

"We met a few times before the accident." He seems kind of vague.

"So what did she send you?"

"A list of messages with names but that doesn't make much sense right?"

"Yeah I guess, did she tell you anything? Why did you want to talk to me?" You sweat, depending on his answer things might turn out very wrong.

"She told me you were suspicious or something, but she didn't know of why, so I felt like I had to warn you." He pauses and looks at you.

"Be careful of her, I don't know what she wants but nobody messes with my best bro!" You let out a discreet sigh of relief.

"Thanks Michael, I'll remember."

You leave toward your next class, that's right, Michael trusts me.
