Chapter 5
by goodson
What does Joan want to talk about?
Nothing really...
"Nothing in particular," Joan replies with a smile, squirming slightly in her seat as if suddenly shy around you.
"Okay," You shrug, continuing to drive towards the school. After a few moments of silence, you ask her, "So, do you have a boyfriend?" It has been so long since you've actually talked to her that you don't have any idea about her personal life anymore. "Are you dating anyone special?"
"No," Joan replies, "I get asked out a lot but..."
"They only want one thing?" You finish her sentence for her, knowing how the gossip about her promiscuity has haunted her all through school.
"Yeah, they all believe the stories about me," She agrees, frowning slightly.
"Do you want me to beat some of them up?" You volunteer lightly, thinking back to your own high school days when you defended your little sister's reputation.
"No," Joan laughs, reaching out to touch your arm, "I don't think that'd be a good idea, John. I don't think we want you arrested for assaulting a bunch of teenagers."
"Well, let me know if you change your mind," You laugh, glad that you were able to lift her spirits even slightly.
"The worst part of it is," Joan says after a few seconds, "that I'm still a virgin. I've got this incredible reputation and I've never even had sex."
You **** yourself to keep your eyes on the road at this announcement, shocked at what your younger sister just confided in you. "Well, I'm... I'm sure you'll find the right guy someday." You reply, slightly uncomfortable and partly aroused with the news of your sister's innocence.
"Oh, I think I've already found him," Joan says softly, her hand reaching out to touch your arm.
"Wha?!!" You stammer, almost driving off the road. "Whoa," You gasp as you get the car back under control, pulling over to the side of the road to a cacophony of car horns from the behind you. "Joan, what?" You managed to ask, your ability to speak slowly returning after the shock you just received. "What are you saying?"
"Well, John," Your sister almost whispers, a look of doubt on her face as she watches you carefully, "I thought... from the way you look at me sometimes. That... oh, never mind," She sobs, turning away from you and burying her face in her hands.
You sit there for a few seconds, shocked and a little frightened as Joan sobs softly into her hands. True, you've fantasized about her, about this very situation for years, but to actually be faced with the opportunity has got your heart pounding. "Joan," You say softly, reaching out to hug her shaking shoulders, gently pulling her to your chest. "I'm sorry... you just startled me. I never thought..."
"I understand," Joan cries, pressing her face against you, "if you don't want me. I know it's wrong and sick but I've always loved you, John. I don't blame you if you're disgusted with me."
"Hey, I never said that," You assure her softly, your hand cupping her chin and tilting her head up towards you. "You just surprised me is all." You smile down into her eyes, slowly leaning forward until your lips meet. At first it is a tentative, chaste kiss as if neither one of you is sure of the other's reaction but as you continue to hold her the kiss deepens. Your hands caress Joan's back as her mouth opens to your tongue, her young body pressing tighter against you, clinging to you almost desperately.
"Wow, John," Joan breathes once you finally part, her eyes bright and excited as she almost gasps for breath. "I've never been kissed like that before."
"I'm glad you liked it," You answer, kissing her full lips once more, "but we'd better get you to school before it gets too much later."
"Do we have to?" Joan asks, still clinging to you, her young body almost vibrating against you in her eagerness. "Couldn't we just go somewhere and spend the day together?" She almost begs.
Take her to school or somewhere more private?
