Kim sat for several minutes looking at the shining metal hoop and leather strap that lay near her. She wasn’t sure if she Shego was trying to terrorize her into submitting to her and Ron or if she really was trying to be helpful. A helpful Shego seemed unlikely but even she had her limits when it came to evil. Maybe some little spark maternal, feminist or simply human compassion was driving Shego to help Kim get out of her icy prison.

As the ten minutes quickly drew to a close Kim decided whether Shego really was being kind or not didn’t matter as she couldn’t submit to Ron’s conditions. Even if Shego was telling the truth and she might remain in the cell for an undefined period of time she refused to put on the collar.

“Oh Kimmy, no. You always were stubborn but even you can’t be this dense.” Shego says with tears in her eyes as she opens the slat and sees the ring still laying where she left it, “Are you sure about this kiddo? Alright, and for what it’s worth I hope someone else volunteers to train you soon as you’re starting to not look so good. Please kiddo, change your mind. I don’t care what you do it for as I know we’re not on the best of terms but there has to be something to make it worth while. Your mom has been crying for three days straight now and if you don’t get out of here soon I don’t think either of you are going to make it. Please Kimmy, one girl to another, put on the collar and make it easier for you and everyone you love.”
