Support the draconian with your spells (Magic)

You're not going to leave this man to get killed by a pack of bandits, but at the same time, you're not talented enough to jump into the fight next to him; you've spent more time studying arcana than axework. But then, you don't need to actually pick up a weapon yourself if you can support him with your magic.

Chanting a few syllables in an old and esoteric tongue, you call forth an invisible web of arcane power that wraps its way around the draconian's body. He hesitates for a moment at the sensation, and one of the bandits lunges in, long knife held out in front of his body, aimed at the warrior's eyes. The draconian spins and parries, his sword a silvery blur that sends the knife flying across the clearing. He blinks, the bandit blinks, and then the warrior chops the bandit's head off with another supremely fast blow.

The other two start to back away, keeping their swords raised to parry, and the draconian follows after them, his movements fast enough to allow him to simply walk after them even as they turn and run. He pursues them out into the woods, and for a minute or so you lose sight of him; but then he returns, stumbling into the clearing, the magic drained from his body and his scales turned pale from exhaustion and blood loss.

He runs his eyes along the tree line until he spots you, then beckons you closer. "Thank you." He says, then gestures to the cut on the side of his head. "Can you bind this?" He asks as he wipes his blade clean with an old cloth.

You nod in agreement, and he lets out a breath he'd been subconsciously holding in and leads you up the stairs into his cabin...
