Continue shopping

After we finish eating, we continue looking for ingredients that we can use at home.

After a few hours, we finally finish and have contracts for most of the ingredients so they are delivered to us.

"That was really interesting to go along with that" I say to Ikumi as we walk back to the car. "You did a good job with that. You also negotiated well and saved me quite a bit of money. I think you deserve a reward for that."

Ikumi looks to me "what kind of reward?" "You are welcome to choose something, however I have an idea if you would like to hear it."

"What do you suggest?" she asks as we arrive at the car and get in. "Well, you already have your knives, so I can't give you that, but I know how you like to wear fancy clothes. If you want I can buy you a few more things than the others."

Her eyes light up a little. "You don't even know what I like" she returns. "Do you think I only brought you along to shop for ingredients with you?" i smile at her.

"What do you mean?" asks Ikumi in wonder. "I had you write down your dress sizes, didn't I? I thought when we were done we'd get some for you and the others."

"Really?" "Yes really, now buckle up and we'll go to the mall."

After buckling up we drive to the nearby mall. Once there, I park the car and we ride up the escalator to get to the stores.
