Sinking

You're at school, it's early morning, you're with Kana, you're talking about a series you saw on Netflix last month, you talk for a while and at some point, Vera passes near you, she's wearing earrings which are definitely new and she grimaces as she sees you. It seems she's attracting attention as people throw glances at her, certainly to verify yesterday's rumor.

You grin and Kana sees it:

"What's making you smile? I thought the episode was quite dark to be honest." She tells you.

"That's not it, I just thought of something." You try to stay vague, you don't want Kana to think of you as a vengeful bastard.

Now that you think about it, actually, you told Penny about your power on your date last time. And she didn't judge you. Maybe you could tell your secret to your harem... No, that would be dangerous, they could change reality as long as the rumor starts from something you did. You're not certain of how that works but you know that you basically have to be the start of a rumor for it to become true.

The more you think about it the less your power makes sense, the thing that makes you the most confused is the start to all of this, a fucking lightning, you almost forgot about that. Maybe you'll take the time to experiment more later, find all the limits and details about it... but for now, you have class.

You arrive in English class and you see Miss Gonzalez, she's here in advance, you exchange a few words before you go sit down. The class is boring but at least you have Kana next to you, at some point you grab her thigh discreetly and she seems to like it. You slowly caress her while she tries to look concentrated on the lesson, it's not perfect but it helps to pass time.

At the end of class, Vera is surrounded by other girls, they're talking about her new style. It pisses you off, by trying to corrupt her you just made her more approachable and she ended up making friends. You sigh and you leave the classroom in direction of the cafeteria, your girls are sitting there but Jessica is missing, you have a bad feeling.
