FOC Day 9 - Investigate

You better check it out. You find Rebecca in the bathroom, looking cute in matching green boyshorts and sports bra, flossing her teeth.

"Hey, Rebecca," you say awkwardly, joining her at her sink. "Can we talk?"

"Uh huh," she says, flossing away.

Max might be watching. You stay focused on her face instead of her smooth bod.

"There's no cool way to say it, so, uh... are you talking to anybody from Green Team?" you ask. You're not a cop, after all... you are not good at this.

Rebecca stops and looks at you.

"Yeah," she says. "I was."

"Really? Why?"

"Why's it matter?" she asks. Then she looks surprised. "Oh my God. You don't trust me?"

"I was just asking," you say defensively.

She rolls her eyes. "You know that Ashley Graham is the former president's daughter, right?"

"Um, what?" You did hear about there being some famous girls here...

"Yeah. She is. And she has a crush on this guy that actually worked for the same department that I was a trainee at," Rebecca goes on, shaking her bottle of mouthwash at you. "So I wanted to meet her. OK?"

"OK," you say. "Sorry."

She just gives you a look like you are an asshole. You leave her there and go back to Max, feeling kind of silly.

"I don't think she's spying or anything," you say.

"That's good." Max looks relieved.

Everyone is busy getting ready for bed. Nobody's really paying attention to the two of you. You feel kind of bad for just now.

"Can I kiss you?" you ask impulsively. "I just really want to."

Max looks shocked and blushes. Then she smiles. "Sure," she says.

You lean in and kiss her lips. She's soft and feels amazing, but you break it off quick, before anyone notices. It looks like... only Aki saw you. She won't tell.

"You want to get out of here tomorrow?" you ask Max. "After we win? Because we'll win. I just want to get away from the cameras for a minute, you know?"

"No cameras on weekends," she reminds you. "We'll be safe here."

"I want to get away from everyone that's not you," you say.

"OK," she says, looking excited. Her hand is on yours.

Could it be that things are actually... going well?
