Chatting and working

Going through my email, looking like most of them being get well soon, slowly going through them and giving my thanks while Wendy and Jennifer sitting beside me chatting.

“Um John, when did you and Wendy start going out?” Jennifer asks blushing.

“this Sunday. It was also her birthday!” I reply while typing out another thanks for the wishes.

“Wait you guys just started going out this week? But you guys seem so in love and it’s like you guys have together for years! What did you get her for her birthday?” Looking really excited.

“He got me this isn’t it pretty?” Taking off her necklace and handing it to Jennifer. “He got it engraved with our names on the front and the day of our first date and my birthday on the back.” Smiling.

Jennifer opens the small heart pendant and sees the small photo where Wendy and I pose for the camera. “Aww, it's so nice John what made you decide on this for Wendy?”

closing the emails, and grabbing some paperwork. “Well, when I found out that it was Wendy's birthday, I didn't know what Wendy liked so I thought maybe, we could have a piece of each other wherever we go yeah, I know it's cheesy but she seems to like it” smiling and feeling a bit of a blush.

“Wait, both of you guys could have a piece of each other? does that mean you also got one?” Jennifer smiling

“yep got mine here, I put mine under my shirt because it feels like Wendy is closer to me” pulling mine out and causing Wendy to blush a little.

“yeah it's a bit cheesy but I think it's cute. I can see why Wendy loves you so much, way more than that garbage pile of an ex I had.” smiling

looking through the expenses of last year trying to calculate for taxes before filing them, “Don't worry Jennifer, the one for you is out there somewhere”

“Yeah, and he would be the best person for you.” Wendy smiling and nodding her head “And that person will be just like my dear John is for me. Loving, caring, protecting, and great in bed.” giggling.

Almost tripping as I get up to go get some water “Wendy! I'm still at work we talk about that at home in private.” blushing but chuckling, with Jennifer also blushing.

“Great in bed? But you guys just started dating Sunday, a-and you just turned 18!” Looking surprised

“Yeah, she decided she wanted to fuck on her birthday before we went to dinner.” Causing Wendy to giggle

“Wow, I can’t believe you would trust him that much Wendy”

“Well I’ve known him for 6 years. And you know he took a knife for me.”

“HE WHAT?” surprised, Jennifer looks shocked.

Just as Wendy is about to tell the story someone knocks on the door.

“Come in!” Charlotte and Winston enter and Wendy starts to tell the story about how I got stabbed

“Hey guys what’s up?”

Winston goes first “I just needed to give you a request for the budget and what the expenses will be” handing a sheet of paper, “also, Charlotte is going to help us on this project. Lastly, just a quick update, preparations are done and bob needs some help with a client, they need someone with higher authority for something. They’ll need you at three if your free.”

“Yeah I’ll be there don’t worry.”

“Cool, I’ll be going than, hi ladies.” Waving to Jennifer and Wendy as he leaves who both wave back Wendy enthusiastically while Jennifer waves a bit meekly.

“So Charlotte what do you need.” Smiling.

“I just wanted to say thanks for helping me with Frank, I really appreciate it. That’s all I wanted to say.” Smiling and blushing.

“Just doing my job, if you ever have something important, HR is very helpful.” Smiling.

“Oh Jennifer, this is Charlotte.” Letting her know and she quickly gets up to hug Charlotte.

“Don’t worry Frank also did some bad stuff with me. Your not alone.”

“Thank you so much.” Smiling “I need to g-go do some work now. Thank you guys so much.” And she leaves the room.

“Wow John you took a knife for Wendy? Frank probably would have thrown me into the knife and than tell me it was my fault.” Trailing off. Wendy hugs her.

“Don’t worry he won’t hurt you anymore.” And they still hug in silence as Jennifer cries a little as I look over the report.

After a while, “John should we go get the lunches for everyone?”

What oh damn that’s was a lot of time that passed. “Yeah come on let’s go, dad let me use his car, I’ll go pick up the alternatives and you pick up the pizzas?”

“Yeah sounds like a plan.” Gives a quick kiss.

“Wait Wendy I’ll come with you.” She smiles and we go off in our separate ways.
