Keep her as a plaything
John froze Elizabeth with the TMD, put her in his car, and drove off to his house. He wanted to get a nice little celebrity family, along with some looped statues, but Elizabeth would just be his plaything for the day. Of course, he would keep her forever, but not as a family member or statue. Just as a thing to play with when he got bored.
