Wake up call

The thunk of the landing gear as it touches down awakens you. You look around. You're back in your seat on the plane coming landing in Tokyo. What a vivid dream. You can still taste some of the bile from when you vomited. There's no time to dwell on it further as the plane pulls into the terminal and you gather your belongings. The flight attendant thanks for choosing their airline as you disembark and enter the airport.

It takes an hour to clear through customs and when you finally finish there you hear a familiar voice call for you "Doe chan!!!" You turn just in time to catch the petite Japanese teen as she slams into you, almost knocking you to the ground. No sooner is she in your arms then she starts to hug you and pepper your faces with kisses. You haven't seen each other in almost a decade but you could never forget Hinako, the only friend you made when you were here as a child.

Your father was friends with her father and he brought you to Tokyo when you were younger. You got along right away and have been keeping in touch ever since. despite that however, you're surprised by how she looks. The most recent photo you had of her showed an innocent faced beauty with brown eyes and shoulder length black hair. The Hinako standing before you now however is a punk rocker with purple streaks in her hair (you're beginning to hate that color) along with a nose ring and purple eyeshadow. Her outfit looks like something out of one of those trendy emo stores with a plaid skirt, leather jacket and more buckles than you could possibly imagine.

Now clinging to your arm, you can't help but enjoy the feel of her c cup breasts as she guides you to the exit where her father is waiting with the car. Hinako's father was a bit on the chunky side and always had an easy going smile on his face. He always kept his hair short and greased back. He was a pencil pusher for the police department and it was beginning to show in the gray streaks on the sides of his head. Back in the day when he was known as detective Ryota, a botched case put a dampener on his career. When you reach the car he gives you a firm handshake and a pat on the back as you get in the backseat with Hinako.

So this is who you'll be living with for the next year. Ryota san offered to put you up in his spare room while you attend college. You'll be spending your sophomore year at Takazana University. It's a little known college on the outskirts of the Tokyo region. You've been meaning to study abroad and your parents insisted on this school for some reason. They said it had a good reputation (and a low tuition fee) as well as being close to where Ryota and Hinako lived.

You spend the car ride catching up with Hinako and getting the lay of the land. When you reach their home you get out and she eagerly drags you inside. It's a decent sized building with a kitchen/living room combo taking up the first floor and the bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. Apparently you'll be using the room next to Hinako. . .
