“So yeah that was what happened, we had to fire him for stealing from us. We also got some huge projects.” Dad finished explaining.

“And you didn’t let me work even though we had these huge projects? Seriously?”

“You were in the hospital, you do know that if I let you work at least half the executives would walk out right? Hell everyone actually increased productivity from not wanting you to stress over it.”

Huh that’s interesting. “I’ll be on the floor today again seeing if anyone needs help. And I’m checking on updates.”

“Fine by me, oh we have a meeting at 2. This is really important so don’t be late.”

“Yeah alright that sounds good. Oh by the way doesn’t the new maid start today? Shouldn’t I have at least met her before coming to work?”

“Yeah she does, it’s fine you guys can meet later, if she needs any help I already told her that she can just ask Wendy. I’m sure she’ll be more than willing to help.”

“Yeah that’s true, by the way how’s you find this girl? Also what’s her name?”

“Her names Jennifer, you guys are the same age actually. How’d I find her? She was at a domestic abuse center when I went to donate some stuff, and since she was so young on her own we started chatting and she mentioned that she was looking for a job and she was in the same university as Thomas. So I offered her the maid job.”

“You somehow always help girls from broken households don’t you?” Laughing at the funny coincidence between Jennifer and Wendy.

“Huh, I just noticed that I guess I have.” Also chuckling.

“What, is this a fetish for emotionally broken teens in maid outfits?”

Now both of us laughing hard.

“You know full well that I just want to help people.”

“Yeah I know, I think it’s nice, helping people that need it.”

Finally entering the building “I guess I’ll see you later dad.”

“Remember, meeting at 2.”
