Sarah AND Natalie

"One more wish?" Tom repeated, furrowing his brow. "What kind of wish now?"

Sarah smiled. "Well, maybe a FEW more wishes. Let's take care of the challenges we're facing so that we'll be able to focus on having fun."

"A few wishes? Challenges? what do you mean?" Tom queried.

Sarah sighed in mild exasperation and sat on the sofa, tugging on Tom's arm for him to join her.

After they were both seated she faced him and started counting off, using her fingers.

"Okay, here are the wishes:

One: 'That Sarah is prolific journaler who documents EVERYTHING in her life.'

That will give me a reference for this life - and help you too.

Two: 'That Sarah's memories aren't changed but she has all the skills, talents, and knowledge for her classes, clubs and everything else in her life, able to access that knowledge as needed. And that she can perfectly act and behave like the teenager she now is when she chooses.'

I barely remember high school and I know nothing about cheerleading or gymnastics, so that should cover me.

Three: 'That Sarah is so close to and trusted by her mother that she would never suspect Sarah of doing anything really wrong, no matter what the evidence.'

That will make our relationship much easier."

She finished and looked at Tom in thought. "Can you think of anything I'm missing? Maybe something like Sarah is so well off because her mom is such a success that her father just retired early to stay at home and do part-time photography."

She grinned at his stunned expression. "That's for you, dear. If I'm going to explore this life for awhile, I want you to enjoy all aspects of it." Then her eyes widened as something suddenly occurred to her. "Oh, oh! I've got a great idea," she exclaimed. "One more wish to add at the end 'I wish that Sarah was one of a set of twins, with her sister Natalie being like her in almost every way.' - I always wished to be a twin when I was young..."

Shaking his head but being used to going along with Sarah's schemes, Tom took a deep breath and made the wishes.
