Tom was torn. He loved Sarah but over the last few weeks (and wishes), he had become more and more comfortable with the peverseness of her teasing him as a daughter, especially while sleeping with Jay. That made the times she gave him actual release all the more amazing! So he could use a wish to push this further, like reducing her true age to 18 or even making her his adopted daughter since she was younger. But he also treasured the experience they had together as husband and wife, granted now only 4 years or so instead of their original 20. Was it worth losing that aspect of the relationship? He could instead simply wish that the divorce and adoptions had already gone through, thus only speeding up the current situation but not changing much else.
