You feel better than you thought you would, things didn't go as you expected but you didn't end up as anxious as usual. Are you getting used to your strange situation or are the rumors you spread changing you against your will?
You also feel better physically, you've been running for a few minutes but you're still totally fine as you cross the finish line, your teammate arrives to see you.
"Here is your time for each lap, take the paper, it's my turn now." He hands you the paper and pen and goes to the starting line.
"Hey John! What's your time?" Asks Jeremy, an average guy in your class, black hair, taller than you but not very muscular. You ended up exchanging a few words from time to time now that you don't spend all your time avoiding your bully.
"So, how did you get to go out with two girls at the same time?" He teases with a grin.
"I-I didn't do much."
"Sure, you just found two hot bi girls that wanted to get together with you?"
"I-I mean, I guess they both found me attractive and it happened." You try to end the conversation.
"You're sure you're not trying to look innocent while flirting with girls in secret?"
"Yeah, sure. Whatever." You say while getting to your teammate now that he finished his run.
---Later---
You cross way with Kana as you're both going home at the same time.
"How do you find school?" You ask trying to make some small talk.
"Listen, I don't want to talk to you." She answers.
You both walk home in silence. As you arrive home, the goth girl tries to open the front door and sees it locked.
"Let me open it." You say as you search your pockets.
...
"Fuck I left my keys in the jeans I wore yesterday." You both look at each other in complete silence.
You write to your mom, warning her that you're locked outside, and you sit on the step next to Kana.
"Hum... Where do you come from?" You ask as she sighs.
"---- Valley." She finally answers.
"Damn that's far from here! Why did you come here in the first place?"
"That's private." She answers.
"Okay. Well what do you do when you have free time? Personally I-"
"Play video games and watch anime? How original." You get it you're boring.
She looks away, pauses a moment, and continues. "I... like playing guitar."
"Really? Would you mind playing something for me?"
"I can't play right now." She says.
"Ah, yeah, well when we go inside again.... Sorry." You notice that her ear turned red.
You spend an hour with Kana, waiting outside in the surprisingly warm weather for winter.
When your mom finally arrives it's already night time and the sun is long gone. But you spent an enjoyable time talking with Kana so you don't mind.
