Acting oblivious

"Well? Know anything or not?" Brie repeated.

"No ma'am" Lauren replied.

"Well, if you do find out anything dont hesitate to call. Im going to keep searching the house" Officer Larson told the girls.

Just before she could leave the bedroom, John entered.

"Ah girls I see you changed your dollys costu-" John noticed something.

"Wheres her elastic?" John asked.

"Dolly? What dolly?" Brie replied, since the elastic was no longer in her hair she knew nothing about being a dolly.

"Oh its over there on the floor" Bella said pointing at it.

"Thats the elastic that makes her into a doll!" John told Bella.

"Oh, sorry daddy! I didnt know. Ill put it back on her" Bella replied. She picked up the elastic, approaching Brie.

"What the? Dolly elastic?" Brie asked confusedly.

"Yea no, you're not putting that on me little girl" Brie told Bella in a more stern voice.
