Chapter 5 by jaynedixon jaynedixon

How long did Jayne stay at the bar?

She stayed just for a few drinks

Jayne had never been to this bar before, so unlike others that she went to so often that she knew all of the bar staff by name, here she didn't know anyone; as the night went on the drinks flowed; she ordered more drinks for herself and when it got quieter even the bartender poured shots for them. She spent the next hour drinking and chatting with her new friend, when she finished her latest drink Jayne decided it was time for her to leave, by which time she was feeling the drinks and felt drunk.

"Ready for another, darlin'?" He asked.

"No thanks, I should go." Jayne said.

"The night is young, sugar." He added.

"Darlin' or sugar? I do have a name, you know." She teased him.

"Don't tell me. I'll just call you Coco." He laughed.

"I guess I've been called worse. I'll just call you Tex." Jayne replied.

Jayne was about to ask for the check when the bartender brought over a fresh drink.

"Not me." Tex said as Jayne looked at him.

"From the guy at the table." The bartender interrupted.

Jayne turned and saw him sat at one of the tables, he waved as she looked at him and she held her drink up and sipped on it to thank him, but then turned back.

"Someone is popular tonight." Tex teased.

"I'm not sure about that." Jayne laughed as she took another sip.

"Are you staying at the hotel here?" Tex asked.

The more he drank, the stronger his accent became Jayne thought, and she was getting drunk and more charmed by him by the second.

"I don't mean to be creepy by asking that. I just want to be sure you don't have to drive anywhere." He continued.

"Yes, I'm staying here." Jayne lied and smiled.

"Drinking and checking out all the guys traveling on their own?" He asked.

Jayne laughed and reached across Tex and tapped the gold band around his finger on his left hand.

"And what would Mrs. Tex say about this?" She asked.

He looked at her and shrugged.

"You are at the hotel bar, drinking and checking me out." Jayne said and took a sip from her drink.

He shrugged again.

"You were checking me out, right?" Jayne asked and suddenly stretched; her breasts pressed against her pink blouse.

"Probably." He admitted.

"There are so many features I could comment on. But this is a respectable establishment, and that stretch had an effect a man shouldn't discuss with a lady in a public place." Tex said.

Jayne laughed and stared at him, her eyes were slightly dazed, her lips were slightly parted, for a minute or two she was quiet, then she leaned forward; her mouth as close to his as it could be without touching it.

"Would a man elaborate more to a lady in private?" Jayne asked and leaned back and stared at him.

"He probably would." Tex said after hesitating for a second and he stared back at Jayne.

What does Jayne do?
