Weiss

It was an evening like any other in the RWBY dorm room. With classes out for the week, the girls were looking to unwind after a stressful week of huntress training. Dressed in their pajamas, the girls of team RWBY were discussing the week's drama, with one event in particular standing out.

"I cannot believe the nerve of some people! Honestly, who would ever streak through the cafeteria!?"

Evidently the 'who' from Weiss's query was a 3rd year huntress. She had hid her face, but the rest was completely exposed to nearly the entirety of Beacon's student body.

Despite being in their second year of Beacon, Weiss still had some reservations about how casual her fellow students could be about their exploits. It had taken the rest of the lunch period and the class after for Weiss' flush to fade. The rest of her team, Yang and Blake especially, didn't share the heiress' hesitance.

Yang gave her partner a knowing look before responding to Weiss' rhetorical question, "You know, Weiss, I'm surprised that you've never considered streaking before. Just a touch of showing off might go a long way to loosening you up! You've certainly got the body for it! It almost sounds cliche, the proud and prude heiress secretly enjoying being naked in public!_ _Think about how much your father would hate it!"

Weiss rolled her eyes, but Yang's cat-eared partner kept the point going, "Yang's idea does have some merit to it, even if it is a bit unrealistic. I could definitely see you enjoying a bit of exhibitionism." Blake added playfully, "Besides, you never know, maybe she lost a bet or something?"

Blake's contribution made the idea a bit more real, causing RWBY's resident heiress to light up red. "HOW COULD YOU EVER INSINUATE SUCH A THING?!" Weiss nearly shrieked in indignation, her manners appalled at the idea of shedding layers in public. Despite her protests, Ruby could see the subtle gears turning in Weiss's head, as if her teammate's suggestions had just revealed a possibility that'd never crossed the heiress' mind.

"I can't believe I'm actually entertaining the thought even further, but what kind of wager would cause someone to streak through campus anyway? Surely no one would risk their dignity over something so minor." Weiss questioned.

Blake and Yang gave each other a sly smile.

"A fun one. Say, Weiss, want to make a wager?"Blake added. Weiss rolled her eyes and declined, but Ruby certainly didn't miss the flush on her cheeks. Even if everyone in the room knew Weiss would never partake in something so beneath her, her reactions were well worth the ire they were certainly inspiring. Still, Ruby had a duty to her partner, as fun as this was. Ruby knew from experience that if she didn't shut Yang's teasing down now, the whole team would end up wrapped up in one shenanigan or the other.

"Yaaaang! Stop teasing Weiss! We all know she'd never be brave enough to be naked in public!" The moment the words left her mouth, Ruby realized how incredibly poor her choice of words were. She cringed at the mistake she'd just made. Judging by Blake's Cheshire grin, it was a mistake she'd fully planned for. Yang and Blake hadn't been baiting Weiss. They'd been baiting her; and she'd just walked blindly into it.

"What did you just say, Ruby?" Weiss asked, a predatory look upon her face. Ruby felt the heat leave her body as they made eye contact, their spacious dorm suddenly feeling like she'd been locked inside alone with a beowolf.

Blake and Yang's plan was so simple, taking advantage of Ruby and Weiss' most fundamental strengths. Weiss was capable of many things, but backing down from a challenge was not one of them. It had only taken a second of carelessness on Ruby's part to accidentally propose a challenge that surely came with humiliating mistakes.

"Is that a wager I hear, Ruby?" Weiss challenged. The passivity in her voice was more present Ruby had ever heard from the heiress. Clearly, Weiss' nerves firing just as much as her own, she was self consciously giving Ruby one final chance to back down and forsake her pride, before the stakes rose over their heads.

As for Ruby, there was no better trait for Blake and Yang to take advantage of than her braveness. While normally her greatest strength, here it took away all her agency. She felt the adrenaline run through her veins as her huntress training took over, screaming at her to take advantage of the weakness Weiss was clearly showing. If their standoff came to a wager here not even Weiss, who never gambled, felt sure of her win.

Filled with the determination that comes with committing to a risky play, Ruby answered Weiss' challenge with a smile.
