nothing for now, you got a phone call

Theresa sits down with her food and starts to eat when you phone starts ringing. you slump down in your seat and fish out your phone only to perk up when you see penny's name on the caller id. Hitting answer you quickly put the phone up to your ear. "Hello Pen..." You are cut off by a gruff male voice. "Are you Gavin Shaw?" You are thrown off by his gruffness. "Uh, yes... can I help you?" You hear a grumble from the other side before he answers "I'm Penny's father and, we got some stuff of yours here. We would prefer to get them back to you today, so what's your address?" You stutter for a moment before telling him. he merely grunts and hangs up. You put the phone down as Theresa gives you a questioning look.

"Ya, that was weird." you say to her. "Penny's dad said they had some of my things to drop off, but why did he call from her cell phone?"

She just shrugs. "Guess we will know in a few minutes." You make a plate of food and sit down to eat while you wait.
