„Easy there,“ you say and try to calm the girl, „take a deep breath and tell me what you want to say.“

„Right, right,“ the girl says and takes a deep breath, „sorry. My friends always say I talk to much when I’m nervous. I’m Wildflower, but now that we meet in person, you can call me Nikky. All my friends do. So, do you want to tell me your real name too? Or do you keep it a secret? It’s not a problem for me. I can call you Dark Rose if you want.“

„I … I’m Ashley Masterson,“ you answer a little surprised.

The girl seems to mistake you for someone she met online. Likely she wanted to meet another girl here. Maybe a date. You wonder if she is a lesbian or only bisexual.

„You said I’m late?“ you ask to gain more time and information.

„Yes, we wanted to meet an hour ago,“ Nikky answers unsure, „but that’s fine. I know traffic and so can be hard. Well, how do you usually do this? It’s the first time I date another girl online.“

You feel pity for the poor girl. She is so adorable waiting for someone who will never appear. You maybe should tell her that you are the wrong person and that the real Dark Rose likely forgot about the meeting or never planed to attend. Or you could play along and make her a fine evening. If she is an hour late and not called, the real Dark Rose is clearly never going to show up here.
