All-Alone!

"Thanks. See you again soon." Jayne said to the woman behind the desk of the nail salon.

"Have a nice day." The woman replied.

Carefully she dropped her purse into her bag and then reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, careful not to scratch her freshly painted white fingernails. As a result of the hot weather today, Jayne wore a linen skirt and a casual button-up shirt, the white material of the shirt pressed against her skin revealing the outline of her lacy white bra.

She quickly messaged Mark, her boyfriend, 'On my way' and then carefully put her phone back in her bag, she was meeting him at a local sushi restaurant that they ate at often as it was so close to their new apartment. It was about a 5 - 10-minute walk from the nail salon and when she got to the restaurant, she pulled open the door and stepped inside; looking around she saw him sat on a table by the window.

"Hi Miss. Nice to see you again." A voice suddenly said.

Jayne turned around and smiled at Mika, one of the servers who worked in the restaurant.

"Hi, nice to see you too." Jayne replied.

"He's over there." Mika said and pointed at Mark.

"I see him. Thanks." Jayne smiled and walked over towards him.

Mika was slender with pale skin, with long black hair and sparkling eyes, she was dressed, as always, all in black; the uniform that all the staff wore; Jayne sat down opposite Mark.

"Hi." She said to Mark.

"Hi. I ordered drinks for us." Mark replied as he shut off his phone.

"I see that." Jayne said and smiled as she picked up the bottle of beer and poured some into her glass before taking a sip.

They frequently ate at the restaurant and after quickly scanning over the menu they ordered; soup, appetizers, sushi rolls, sashimi. During their meal they also ordered a second round of drinks and after they had finished Mark asked for the check and Mika brought it over.

"So good to see you again." Mika said as she handed the check to Mark.

"Nice to see you too." Jayne replied as she looked up at Mika; Mark opened his wallet, took his credit card out and handed it with the check back to Mika.

"I'll be right back with this." Mika said, her hand brushed Jayne's shoulder as she turned and walked off.

"Thanks." Jayne replied and then reached to finish her drink before she took a sip of water.

"Time to go home. I've got to pack yet." Mark said.

"Bye, see you again." Mika said as Jayne and Mark headed for the door.

"Bye. Thank you." Jayne replied just before they walked out of the restaurant and headed home.

Hand in hand they walked down the street away from the restaurant towards their apartment, at the lights they stopped and waited to cross their street and then continued towards their apartment building.
