They ford the river, Biter goes across and Big boy waits by the the bridge.

Biter's smaller frame lends itself better to stealth so they decide he should cross the river. Big boy will cover him with his rifle if anything goes wrong and take the bridge after Biter causes the distraction.

The two take up their positions and wait. When the sun finally sets they put their plan into action. Big boy watches Biter through the scope of his rifle as the little mutant wades out into the water. Being 7ft tall means he still towers over all but the largest men but the river is deep and Big boy is anxious to see if Biter can make it across. Halfway out and everything is going to plan. The moon light shines off of Biters pale green skin as he wades slowly towards the pens, half submerged. Big boy scans ahead of him and scopes out the far bank. It all looks good. No lights. No movement. Then a small torch and a man carrying a sawed off shotgun emerges from between some houses up the embankment. He slowly walks down towards the docks where the pens are situated. He doesn't seem to have spotted Biter.

Big boy looks back towards the river and sees Biter has finally reached the pens. He is standing in the shallows, his hammer raised above his head as he prepares to smash the fencing. Big boy looks back up the embankment and sees the man stop. As the crunch of splintering wood echos out across the river the man drops his torch and begins to run to where Biter must still be. Big boy keeps the man I'm his sights as he makes his way down the embankment. He hears another crunch of wood. As the man raises his gun and takes aim Big boy pulls the trigger and he falls. He watches as Mirelurks begin to scitter out of the river and up the towards the settlement.

Big boy pulls his eyes away from the scope and looks back across the bridge. The guards are on high alert having taken cover behind their barricades at the check point. They peer over the wood and scrap metal and try to locate the source of the gun shot. Their faces are pale in the dark night and while he can't quite make out their eyes from here he can smell panic on the air. One of them must be a woman. That though sends blood rushing down towards his crotch and soon his cock is bouncing against his thigh as crouches concealed by shadow. Lust starts to cloud his mind as his thoughts become less strategic and more primal.

As screams begin to fill the night air and the sound of Biter running back across the river causes the sound of sloshing water to reach the bridge, one guards concern outweighs their caution and they stand up to look down at the water.

Big boy takes aim and let's a bullet rip. It hits them with a thud and they fall yelling out in pain. The machine gun turret must have finally spotted Big boy as it begins to spew bullets down across the bridge. He times the bursts and takes aim at the little green light just above the barrel. He fires and the bullet strikes, damaging it's sensor. The turret begins to quickly rotate as it sprays randomly in all directions. The effect is now that it is suppressing the guards as much as it's suppressing him. He takes a second shot at the turret but he rushes it and he sees Sparks fly off it's rounded metal hull. He wishes he had brought his mini Lazer but he never expected to meet resistance like this.

Biter finally joins him and the two figure out a plan. They see the head of the second guard peek out over the cover. She has lost her wide brimmed hat and now the moon light reflects off her blonde head. She quickly ducks back down as the turret turns towards her. She is caught between the friendly fire on one side and the mutants on theo other She won't be a problem for now. They just have to remove the turret, then they can take her as a prize.

Looking around Big boy spots an old car door. He tells biter to pick it up and then hold it out in front him. The makeshift shield provides biter some cover and he kneels down with it infront of Big boy who hunches to try and stay in cover. As the turret passes over them they hear bullets thudding into the door as sparks fly. Big boy takes careful aim and sends another bullet into the vunerable sensor array around the barrel and this time the turret smokes a and then explodes.

Biter drops the shield and the two mutants quickly run down the bridge hoping to take the girl without having to shoot her.
