"I, uh... okay." Ivy took a deep breath, and closed her eyes for a moment. "I don't think I'm ready, mentally, for what you want to do. But, I still want you to have an opportunity." James's jaw dropped for a moment. "You'd want to let me activate Doll mode and then... what?"

"I already have two minds doing stuff with this body, so what's a third? You wouldn't hurt me or anything, right? That's all I care about. James assumed this was how the Ascend was determining what clothing the body was wearing. Going through another menu, he looked at all the artificial intelligence modules he could download--some were things like teaching modules, where the AI behaved like an instructor, or simple jobs where AI were already a good fit like working behind the counter at a store. There were all kinds of AI that seemed like they were just general purpose assistants though, with some that seemed like they might be far less family friendly...

Fifteen minutes before classes started. Damn! James had wasted all this potential time doing something with Ivy's body just looking through menus. He knew he had to pick something to relieve his tension, otherwise he wasn't going to last the day thinking about all this stuff!
