He explains the situation and questions her.

"Not really" the Ghoul says. "They where lead by a woman and didn't seem to have any men with them. They said they killed all the men as revenge for ruining the world but they would let the women live if they joined them. The women resisted so they just killed the whole town, kids and all. The few women who hid instead of fought they took for slaves. I guess they're not interested in ghouls even though I'm a woman. Add another prejudice to their list."

"They say where they go" Big boy asks.

"Back north near the river. Don't know much beyond that. I got a few ideas though, lived in this area a long time".
