Help Some Young Lovers: Young Hearts

Madeline had heard that Jack, an almost apprentice of the Mechanic Loyal, had been pacing around Nellis near the air field's edge. Evidently he had fallen for someone caravanner.

Madeline figured if she could help Jack with his problem it might give her some extra credibility with the Boomers. She sought him out and after asking around she was directed to the edge of the Nellis fence.

The blonde, full headed Jack was standing there gazing out over the approaches to Nellis Airforce Base through a set of old pre-war binoculars.

"Have you seen her? The redhead of my dreams?" He said, without even hardly look at Madeline as she approached.

"Who" Madeline asked looking out in the distance, as if she would find a red head standing there.

"She works a caravan." He said, taking the old binos from his face and looking at Madeline. "She is just so amazing. I have seen her looking at me when I have been here. She even WAVED at me!"

"You haven't talked?" Madeline asked.

"Well, No." Jack said awkwardly. "Sorry, I'm Jack by the way."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Madeline."

"Say, do you think you could...maybe find Red?" he said eagerly.

"Red?" Madeline looked puzzled for a moment "Oh that's the red head. You want me to find her?"

"She must work for a caravan based out of Vegas. I just know we are meant to be together. She just can't get here because we blast anyone who comes too close. But YOU got here."

"True." Madeline nodded "You want me to find this woman you don't even know and ask her to come here to live with you?"

"Look I know its crazy. But there is a connection there. I just know it. Please."

Madeline considered her options. Having Jack spread support among the Boomers would certainly help Pearl agree to help the NCR but going all the way back to New Vegas could be dangerous.
