Chapter 78 by zonefire zonefire

Who do you run into?

Bullied Bunny

As you walked through the halls of Beacon, you debated who to experiment on. There was the lounge room and the female locker room to wait for a test subject if you wanted. They belonged to you after all. You also had a few girls you hadn’t seen in a while. Glynda Goodwitch, or Goodbitch as you called her. She was your toy, ready to be used when called. You haven’t sought her since you fucked her that one time. Realizing why now, it was because she wasn’t a challenge. Entertainment involving her would need to be a little more creative. Maybe she and Neo could teach a sex class or something.

You laughed to yourself.

Not now though. Deciding not to target anyone you already had controlled, you figured changing someone you hadn’t done much with would be more fun. You stopped in the middle of the hallway as this occurred to you.

“I’ve been hanging out with Neo too much.” You sighed. “Though, I wonder if there’s a way to keep Kali in Vale? I really don’t want to let her go.” It was selfish, but damn. That woman was in a league of her own.

Focusing on the task at hand, you debated who to target. That one girl, Starfire, you met in the locker room might be a good choice. She was hot and was outgoing. Messing with her mentally would be funny. Or her partner, that solemn girl Raven who made Blake look chipper. Ah… Blake did have a lot of emotions last night.

Reminiscing about that night had you walk through the halls of Beacon in a daze.

“S-Stop!”

Someone’s cry of pain snapped you back to the present and you spun around to locate the source.

Down the hallway, you saw Cardin and his team surrounding a Faunus girl with long brown ears. You recognized the girl as Velvet, a timid and kind girl. Cardin was pulling her ears and laughing with his team. Your hand formed a fist as you felt anger well up within you. Talking with Blake made you understand what it was like to be a Faunus constantly bullied by humans. Vale was supposed to be above that.

There was no way you were going to let that stand.

“Hey! Cardin!” You stomped over and the bully looked up. “Leave her alone!”

“Who is… oh, it’s Arc.” Cardin did let go of Velvet’s ears and stood up straight. “What’s the big deal? She’s just a Faunus and you don’t even know her.”

“What’s YOUR deal?” You demanded. “Picking on her because she’s a Faunus? That’s disgusting.”

Picking a fight with Cardin probably wasn’t a bright idea. You only ever won because your ‘weapons’ were powerful. Pyrrha, Yang, and Weiss could defeat all the other students. Even with your training every day, you were still far behind a normal Beacon student. All you could do is stay confident and pretend those skills in class were yours. There was no way you were going to let someone bully a girl in front of you.

Your mom would whoop your ass if she ever heard you ignoring someone being bullied.

“You going to do something about this?” Cardin asked.

“Hey, Cardin?” Russel muttered behind him. His quiet words a contrast to his wild green Mohawk. “You sure you want to do that here? It’s Arc and he’s one of the top fighters here.”

“Shut up.” Cardin snapped then turned back to you. “Whatever. We were done anyways. I don’t care if you want to be an animal lover.” He and his team left as you glared at them for a moment. Then you did the gentlemanly thing and held out a hand for Velvet.

“Are you okay?”

“Y-Yes… thank you.” Velvet was timid for sure, but accepted your hand to help herself stand up. “Why did you help me?”

“Do I need a reason to help someone?” You asked in response.

“No… I suppose you shouldn’t.” Velvet conceded.

“But man, I hate people who treat others different just because they are a Faunus,” You growled. “There’s no reason for that.”

Velvet’s ears twitched and her eyes widened as she stared at you, like she was observing you closely.

“Do they bully you often?” You pressed concerned. “You’re a second year, right? Couldn’t you knock some sense into them?”

“I don’t like ****,” Velvet muttered. “Not against other people. Besides, if I fight back, sure, they might stop bothering me. Then who is going to be the target of their ire? I can handle it, but not everyone can.” She smiled. “I still appreciate the help. Hopefully, when they realize most people are against bullying, they will stop completely.”

“Sounds complicated.” You rubbed the back of your neck. The girl was cute when she smiled. In a pure innocent way, much like Ruby. Now that she was safe though, you noticed no one else was around. It would be a perfect time to experiment on her. “Would you like to know my family’s secret method of gaining courage? Might help you out when you’re alone?”

“What is it?” Velvet tilted her head slightly as you pulled out a marker.

“It’s just a short phase we write on our hands,” You lied through your teeth. “You can see it and remember why we do what we have to do, even if it’s hard.”

The girl looked at your curiously and then held out her hand. Since you saved her, she felt like she could trust you a bit. Plus, your lie wasn’t that crazy and maybe a part of her wanted to gain courage. It wasn’t like the two of you were complete strangers. You both have seen each other around school after all. Besides, to her, what could some writing on a hand do?

What do you write?
