A charge

After the most embarrassing half hour in Lara's life, Jimmy's father pulled stopped the car outside the police station. She was led into some kind of emergency exit, and entered a corridor. She still didn't say a word, but was really not looking forward to whatever was going to happen. She didn't want to risk being chased by the police over this kind of matter, so fleeing was out of the question. Eventually they entered a small office, where a uniformed man behind a desk raised his eyebrows when Lara and his boss entered the room.

«Well hello there, sir» the man said with a sheepish grin «thought I wasn't here ey?».

«Please Lyndon,» Jimmy's father said «I'm not in the mood for jokes now. I just found this prostitute with my son, and you'll have to deal with her. I don't want anything to do with the matter, but she needs to be fined for loitering, and also registered, if she isn't in the archives already.»

«She doesn't look like a prostitute», Lyndon said.

«Have you seen my son?»

«Hmh, I suppose you're right. Just go home and tell your son he's got a great taste in women then. I'll handle this.» Lyndon said with the sheepish grin back on his face.

«Sod off!» Jimmy's father went out of the door.
