Misty vs Jessie

(characters are 18 or older..., if not they won't be for terribly long).

"Agh Where are these jerkbags?"

Misty was out in the woods by Cerulean city, looking for the trouble makers that had been giving anyone passing through the route trouble. It was part of Gym Leader duties to try and protect the area around their town or city, if the Jennies or police **** couldn't. The trouble makers just yoinking food or pocket change for the most part, so the law enforcement was more focused on bigger problems than random shake downs. But this one was a bit of a personal vendetta for Misty as the only thing of true value that was being stolen from people was Gym Badges. Specifically, HER Badges.

Either by fight against someone in a large cloak, trickery, or stealing them in the night; anyone that walked through the woods risked losing their Cascade Badge. As a trainer and the Gym Leader tied to it, this was annoying and off putting to Misty. It was like an insult that someone would be out here trying to scam a badge but it sounded more than that. As if someone was taking her badge and maybe selling them on a 'black market' of sorts. It was a thriving shadow industry but usually these were shut down quickly or the counterfeits identified. Still enough always sprang up. At the very least, someone seemed to have a vendetta against the Cerulean Gym.

"No one's gonna defile or mock my Gym like this!" Misty grumbled to herself. If only her sisters would show more care in their gym duties but Nooooooooooo, it was always something else for them. Boys usually but the girls had started being a bit more.... responsible. They were actresses and local celebrities but their abilities in Pokemon battling hadn't increased. Even as they got older, Misty was the only one that really kept her skills up. She was older, wiser but just as hot headed as her days with traveling with Ash. She could take care of this herself.

So here Misty was, walking around at night trying to find who was doing this. She'd gotten lucky after finding a pair of campers who had just been robbed of their badge. The Gym leader had given it to the girl of the pair just two days ago, so this one stung even more. They pointed out which way the woman in some kind of uniform had made off, and then Misty was in hot pursuit.

"Woman huh.... It's her I know it!" Misty thought as her teeth ground against themselves as her anger grew.

Misty was quite certain she knew who was doing this. Why, she couldn't be sure but given how personal this was there was only one other person that felt this bitter towards her. Jessie, half of that Team Rocket trio of doofuses. Sure Ash was was back home but that was a GOOD distance away from her. Why Team Rocket was messing with her rather than going after Pikachu, Misty couldn't say. Maybe they were just that **** for money as the three were almost always broke or in the middle of a money scheme.

The Water Gym Leader kept trudging through the woods being glad for her wardrobe choice. It was a remake of her younger days; a simple yellow shirt that reveals her midriff, denim shorts that stopped at her knees, complete with red suspenders. These days though she wore long boots if she was going out into the woods like now, and a short blue jacket for the chill of the night. Her red hair was still done up in a pony tail off to the side of her head. All and all, similar to how she used to dress but a bit more covering her skin. Not that much given how she would often just jump into water like this if she had to.

"I'm gonna find her and pull those badges outta her hands like I'm pulling TEETH!!" Misty growled as she kicked a branch out the way and kept going. It was just a matter of who would find who first?
