tied to a chair

I woke up with a load groan. opening my eyes I see that I am still in the gazebo from earlier. looking down I see several of the word rope looking like rope wrapping around me and seems to be keeping me in place.

"I'm sorry but you were acting a bit irrational," said Levi as she took a sip of tea.

"you said my home betrayed me," I said with a growl.

"no I just told you that master never lies," Levi said. "you filled in the rest based off what master had already told you. now I don't know everything but master told us a few of the details so let me ask you a few questions."

"go ahead," I say.

"why are you still a Genin," Levi asked. "you beat Esdeath and she is at least elite jounin level. and don't say because you missed the chunin exams. their is more than one way to be promote like field promotions."

I was about to say the chunin exam answer when she said not to. that got me thinking a bit more and the more I thought about it the more doubt seems to grow in my head. "I don't know," I said.

"I see," she said. "did it ever seemed like they kept you at a lower rank to have more control over you?"

I open my mouth to say no before a few memories come to the surface. all the times I was told not to question anything since I was just a Genin. "yes," I said as tears started to fall.

"how about you just sit here for an hour and really think about what master had told you," said Levi. "the ropes will disappear around that time. sorry I know I promised a tour but I feel like you need some time to think." she then left after saying her piece.

I just stared at the table as I did try to think about everything. the more I thought about it the more tears started to fall down my face.
