The Cinemas

The two strolled around the streets, it was only a five or so minute walk. Both Mark and Jess were intoxicated but nothing over the top to not be let in. Either way, it didn’t seem like a great idea to be heading to the cinemas at this time, Mark knew he wouldn’t be able to or want to concentrate.

“Oh fuck me,” Mark just said, remembering what they were wearing.

“What?” Jess asked him as they stopped just outside the front doors of the cinema.

“This!” he said, grabbing a hold of his suspenders, “I forgot we were wearing these silly outfits. We can’t go in there like this, people are going to laugh at us!”

Jess just laughed at him, “Laugh at me?” She did a twirl and let her short skirt float up without going to high to reveal anything, “Nobody’s laughing at me, I look hot.”

Mark nudged her arm playfully, “Arrogant much?”

“It’s called confidence babe. Have some for yourself too, such a big cutie in this,” she said, scrunching up her cute little face. She sure knew how to make a guy blush.

Before he knew it, Jess was dragging him inside. To Mark’s relief, there wasn’t too many people in the main foyer room anyway so he didn’t feel like he was getting judged too much.

“So what are we actually going to watch?” Mark asked as they made their way to the front counter. “Heard The wretched is pretty good,” he then mentioned, speaking about the horror movie that was starting in less than 5 minutes.

Jess nodded, “Sure, make sure to get me an Ice Cream too, something with a bit of chocolate,” she whispered into his ear some what seductively.

He didn’t know if that was code for something but when an extremely hot popular girl tells you to get her an ice-cream, you darn well better get her that ice cream.
