All your life you were faced with assholes. In junior high, you were regularly beaten up for refusing to say the 'under God' part of the pledge of allegiance. In High School, you were ostracized for being un-athletic and a computer geek. In college, guys ignored you and girls treated you like you carried a foul stink around you. And at work, you were always the guy who'd work the extra hour, who'd solve the problem and let the project move forward but you'd never been the guy who got asked out for a beer afterward. Through it all, though, you'd comforted yourself with the thought that you were better than they. They were the assholes and you weren't. Like wasn't simple, but at least there was that comfort to fall back on.

In a flash of insight, you see that you've become, in a way at least, one of the people who oppressed the weaker. Because Carol had a nerdy fantasy, you'd taken advantage of her... and here you were ready to do the same thing again. You imagine what the little blonde girl will think when she comes home only to find that her mom has been exploited with false promises.

Well, shit. You have a decision to make. Should you let her know the truth... that you have no intention of doing true-crime streaming and think it's bullshit, pretend that you'll do it so you can string her on for more blowjobs and sex, or actually follow through with the true crime streaming... possibly at the risk of diluting your own efforts at hacking the sim?
