"I can't just give up my life here and move across the country." She says.

"I know." You reply sadly. "I really am going to miss you."

"I'm going to miss you too." She hugs you tightly.

That evening, you lay awake in bed. You feel bad about leaving Jane. You haven't even figured out how to bring the subject up with Kate. It is hours before you manage to fall asleep.

The sunlight streaming in through your bedroom window wakes you. Feeling that there's someone else in bed with you, you turn and see Jane, fast asleep. You are so surprised by this that it takes you a moment to notice the bars behind her. Actually, there's bars all around your bed.

"Huh?" Jane is stirred awake by your movement. As she looks around she seems to realise something. "Oh no."
